Nellie Ryan is a creative with a passion for illustration and surface print design, which has led to the commission and collaboration with many prestigious international brands. Her work varies from illustration, textile design to hand built ceramic artworks, inspired by her love of travel, collecting old books and scouring vintage markets.

Her early career was spent in London embarking on a career in fashion for British fashion designer Jasper Conran which opened doors to a whole new world of beauty, art and high fashion. She then moved into other creative areas such as children’s book illustrations, advertising/ editorial illustration and trend forecasting.

Now residing in Auckland, Nellie enjoys creating art and designing textiles for both international and New Zealand clients such as Sabre Paris and WGSN trend forecasting.
